Graduation Analysis: 1.5% fewer students graduated from Nashoba Regional School District in 2022-23 school year

Nashoba Regional School District had a 94.1% graduation rate during the 2022-23 school year, 1.5% lower than the previous school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

There were 192 students who graduated in the 2022-23 school year, compared to 241 the year before.

Nashoba Regional School District and Tewksbury Public Schools District had the 76th highest graduation rate in the state.

Nashoba Regional School District roughly covers schools within Worcester County and has a main office in Bolton.

In 2024, public schools in Massachusetts boasted a graduation rate of 90%, according to Public School Review.

However, younger students' proficiency is still lagging behind pre-pandemic levels. NAEP results show that in 2022, less than 47% of the students were considered proficient in math and reading, with eighth-graders performing the worst, reaching only 35% proficiency in math.
