WINTERFEST IS BACK AT MOUNT WACHUSETT COMMUNITY COLLEGE
MWCC’s annual Winterfest Raffle Fundraiser will be held Tuesday, December 6th through Thursday, December 8th. Drawings will be on Thursday, December 8th at 2 PM.
This annual event is sponsored by Student Services, Student Life and CATS (Campus Activity Team for Students) and funds raised are used for the Emergency Student Loan Fund.
Student clubs decorate wreaths and staff and faculty departments put together themed gift baskets. A few of the gift basket themes for this year are: “Student Services, We deliver!”, “Theatre at the Mount”, “Shop Local Businesses”, and “Bake Your Way Into The Holidays!”.
The “Student Services, We Deliver!” basket is expected to be a big seller – the basket includes an Ooni Pizza Oven and $100 gift card that can be used to take a pizza dough cooking class! Not to be outdone, the Marketing Department’s “Shop Local Businesses” basket includes lift tickets to Wachusett Mountain Ski Area and a stay at Great Wolf Lodge.
Bidders can stop in at the Gardner Campus Commons Area, accessible through the main entrance, Tuesday, December 6th from 9 am to 6 pm, Wednesday, December 7th from 9 am to 6 pm, and Thursday, December 8th from 9 am to 2 pm.
