Racially, these are trying times that weigh on our hearts, minds, spirits, and even the very core of our souls. I

Racially, these are trying times that weigh on our hearts, minds, spirits, and even the very core of our souls. Incident after incident, constant social media, witnessing the pain, anguish, loss of life, and managing personal fears for the safety and well-being of our families and communities can cause race-based traumas.

In collaboration with Counseling Services, Student Life, and the President’s Office, MWCC will be hosting a student support session for students to come and process their feelings and thoughts related to the recent death of Tyre Nichols.

What is it: It’s an invitation to speak your truth; to be seen, heard, and felt. The circle creates a compassionate space for us to engage in the ongoing healing process and relationship building.

Any student who is interested in open dialogue and reflection should attend.
