On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Leominster High School standout Angel Baez’s current college team, the SNHU Penmen, won 8-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans.

The game took place at Cal Ripken Experience. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Penmen’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium against Adelphi Panthers.
